『スーパーマリオギャラクシー』映画レビュー
ノスタルジア全開！ 目まぐるしいスピード感とファンサービス天国
色鮮やかな銀河と重力反転、任天堂らしい可愛さとワクワクが詰まった、めちゃくちゃ楽しい映画になりました。
これはまさに、小さい頃にスーファミのコントローラーを握りしめてヨッシーに夢中になっていた世代のために作られた映画と言えるでしょう。
ほとんど息つく暇がないくらいノンストップで展開していきます。
そのテンションの高さは最高に気分が上がりますが、正直もう少し息をつける「間」を作って欲しかったな…という気持ちもあります。
個人的には、まずは『スーパーマリオワールド』的な地に足のついた映画を先にやってから、宇宙大冒険に突入してほしかったかも。
ヨッシーアイランド風のゆったりしたオープニングがあったら、宇宙へ飛び立つ瞬間の感動がもっとすごかった気がします。
画面の隅々まで、子供時代の幸せな記憶を刺激してくる仕掛けだらけ。
リミックスされたBGM、懐かしいパワーアップのアニメーション、クラシックステージへの細かいオマージュ…全部が任天堂からのラブレターみたいです。
イースターエッグも大量発生！
背景の小ネタ、キャラクターのカメオ出演、隠しネタを数えていたらきりがありません。
ファンたちは「ポーズ→巻き戻し」を何度も繰り返すことになるでしょう（笑）。
原作の精神をちゃんと守りつつ、劇場版としてスッキリまとめたのは好印象です。
特にジャック・ブラックのクッパは最高！
威圧的な低音ボイスと、でっかいお茶目さを完璧に混ぜた演技で、毎回シーンをぶん取っていきます。最高に楽しかったです。

劇場で一番のどよめきが起きたのは、なんとスターフォックスの登場シーン！
フォックス・マクラウドが出てきた瞬間、劇場が「えっ！？」って息を飲むのが聞こえました（笑）。
僕と妻はニヤニヤが止まらず…。
特に『スーパーマリオUSA』（マリオ2）のあの悪者たちが活躍した瞬間はファンでいることの最高の報酬でした。
しかも任天堂、映画公開直後に新作スターフォックスを発表するなんて…最高のマーケティングすぎる！
総合評価：7.5 / 10
シンプルで、楽しくて、ファンに優しい任天堂らしい映画です。
暗いリブートとか複雑なマルチバースとか一切なし。
「ただ純粋に楽しんでくれ」っていう気持ちがストレートに伝わってきます。
もし「もっと深い設定が欲しい」「アカデミー賞級の脚本を…」と期待して入ったら少し物足りないかもしれません。
でも、ファンが本当に欲しいものをちゃんと届けてくれるって、最近のハリウッドが忘れがちな大事なことだと思います。
任天堂大好き人間と家族には全力でおすすめ！
子供達を連れて行きましょう。そして念のため、古いファミコンコントローラーも持って行くと運が上がるかも…？
バスキンロビンス × マリオギャラクシーコラボ限定アイス
任天堂オタクの皆さんはもう知ってると思いますが、一応レビューします！
今回発売されたコラボアイスは「コットンフルーツギャラクシー」。
ライチ味ベースに、チョコレートの星がたくさん入ったアイスです。
最初はフルーツ系だからシャーベットっぽいのかな〜と思っていたんですが、大間違いでした（笑）。

Super Mario Galaxy Movie Review: Nostalgia Overload, Lightning-Fast Pacing, and an Exciting Fan-Service Ride
Super Mario Galaxy hits the big screen in a whirlwind of color, gravity flips, and pure Nintendo charm.
This is the kind of movie that feels like it was made specifically for people who grew up with a Nintendo Controller in their hands and Yoshi on their minds.
The film is very fast-paced — almost relentlessly so, it barely gives you a moment to breathe.
While the energy is infectious, I do wish it had slowed down in places.
Honestly, I would have loved a Super Mario World movie first to properly set the stage before jumping straight into the galaxy-spanning adventure.
A slower, more grounded Yoshi’s Island-style opener could have made the leap to space feel even more epic.
That said, the movie is absolutely dripping with nostalgia.
Every frame seems designed to trigger happy childhood memories.
The remixed soundtracks, the way certain power-ups are animated, the little visual nods to classic levels — it’s a love letter to decades of Mario games.
There are tons of easter eggs too.
I lost count of how many background details, character cameos, and subtle references I spotted.
Fans will be pausing and rewinding for weeks.
Nintendo also made some smart changes to the canon to create a clearer, more cohesive story.
A few timeline tweaks and character motivations feel cleaner without betraying the spirit of the games.
It works well for a theatrical release.
Jack Black is an absolute blast as Bowser, stealing every scene with his perfect mix of menacing growl and hilarious, larger-than-life personality.

The biggest shock for most audiences was the Star Fox appearance.
The theater I was in literally gasped when Fox McCloud showed up.
Me and BearFriend, however, were grinning ear to ear — especially when the bad guys from Super Mario 2 (aka Super Mario USA) got their moment in the spotlight.
It was such a fun deep-cut payoff.
And props to Nintendo for immediately dropping a new Star Fox game announcement right after the movie’s release.
That kind of swift follow-through is fantastic and great marketing.
Overall, Super Mario Galaxy is a simple, joyful ride.
If you want a straightforward, colorful Nintendo celebration that respects the fans, this movie delivers exactly what it promises.
It doesn’t try to be a dark reboot or a convoluted multiverse epic.
It just wants you to have fun — and it succeeds.
If you went in expecting more (deeper lore, Oscar-worthy writing, or Hollywood-style twists), you might walk away a little disappointed.
But maybe Hollywood forgot something important: sometimes it’s perfectly okay to just give the fans what they actually want.
Final Score: 7.5/10
A very solid Mario adventure that nails the nostalgia and fan service, even if the pacing could have used a few more power moons to slow it down.
Highly recommended for Nintendo lovers and families.
Bring the kids — and maybe your old NES controller for good luck.
Super Mario Galaxy movie limited time ice cream in Baskin Robins
You Nintendo nerds out there will know already, but I’ll review it anyway.
Did you try the Baskin Robins & Mario Galaxy collab?
The scoop is called “Cotton Fruits Galaxy,” and it’s supposed to taste like lychee with chocolate-like textured stars inside.
Since the base taste is a fruit, I initially imagined it to be come kind of sorbet, but oh was I wrong.

Absolute Mamma Mia out of 10!
Would eat the whole carton or keg, batch, whatever they have in stock in the freezer in the back!
Such a shame it’s limited time only… Japan just loves doing that.
