KushiBaの幸せオムライス、ソースも絶品

ここでは「幸せオムライス」が食べれると聞いてやってきました。

17時の開店前に到着しつつも、オーナーが少し早めにお店に入れてくれ、感謝！

一歩レストランに足を踏み入れると、一瞬で心が落ち着く間接照明と懐かしさを感じさせてくれつつもモダンな雰囲気を持つインテリアに途端に居心地の良さを覚えます。

 

テーブルにブロックテトリスや知恵の輪などのおもちゃがあった理由もあるかもしれません。
四角のブロックを使わずにパズルをはめられるか挑戦しているうちに、目的のオムライスが運ばれてきました。

 

ふっくらした卵の上には写真で見たのと同じ笑顔が。
思わずつられて僕も笑顔に。

せっかくのお顔を崩してしまう罪悪感でいっぱいになりますが、ひき肉とチーズが合わさり、これまた箸（スプーン？）が止まらなくなるデミグラスソースが加わると一気に食べてしまいたくなるほどの美味しさにびっくり。

これは確かに幸せになれる！

 

KushiBaのオムライスはカゴメが開催する日本一のオムライス決定戦「オムライススタジアム2023」に出場するほどのクオリティー。
続けて食べたくなるくらいでした。

 

この幸せオムライスの他にも

• わんぱくオムライス
• 焼きチーズオムライス
• ベーコンオムレツオムライス
• ときめきオムライス　パルミジャーノチーズクリームリゾット

などなど、昼の部含めオムライスが売りの食べどころです。

 

もう一品頼んだのがこちらのビーフドリア。

ドリアを食べ慣れていないためにその熱さに驚きつつも、ホロホロと口の中でとろけるソースとチーズに舌鼓を打ちました。
動画の中でも「お、美味しひ…」としか言えてないのに今更気付いたり。苦笑

 

関内に行って、隠れ家的かつ居心地がとんでもなく良い休憩場所を探すことになったら、こちらの「KushiBa 洋食Bar」がおすすめ！
ドリンクも充実しているので、ゆっくりと休めることでしょう。

KushiBa’s “Happiness Omurice” — and a Sauce That Steals the Show

I’d heard this was the place to try the legendary Shiawase Omurice — the “Happiness Omurice” — so I made my way over to find out for myself.

I arrived a little before the 5 PM opening, but the owner was kind enough to let me in early.
Such a warm welcome!

The moment I stepped inside, I felt instantly at ease.
The soft, indirect lighting and the interior — nostalgic yet modern — wrapped around me like a comfortable embrace.
I think the little toys on the table helped too: block puzzles and metal ring puzzles were sitting there waiting to be played with.

And we saw Pooh.

I was happily trying to solve the block puzzle without using the square piece when my omurice arrived.

There it was — the very same smiling face I’d seen in photos, sitting right on top of a perfectly fluffy egg.
I couldn’t help but smile right back.

I felt genuinely guilty breaking that adorable little face apart — but the moment the minced meat, melted cheese, and rich demi-glace sauce all came together, any guilt completely vanished. It was so good I could have inhaled the whole thing in seconds. This omurice really does make you happy.

And it makes sense — this dish is no ordinary omurice. It was actually entered into Omurice Stadium 2023, Kagome’s nationwide competition to crown Japan’s best omurice. One bite and you’ll understand why. Honestly, I could have gone back for seconds.

Beyond the signature Happiness Omurice, the menu also features:

• Wanpaku Omurice (the wild & hearty version)
• Baked Cheese Omurice
• Bacon Omelette Omurice
• Tokimeki Omurice — with Parmigiano cream risotto

Omurice is clearly the star here, with options available at lunch as well.

I also ordered the Beef Doria as a second dish — apparently one of the bar’s most popular items, so I had to try it.

I’m not usually a doria person, so the intense heat surprised me at first, but once that melt-in-your-mouth sauce and cheese hit my tongue, I was completely won over. (I just noticed watching the video back that all I managed to say was “Oh… it’s so goood…” — can’t say I’m sorry. 😅)

If you’re ever in Kannai and looking for a hideaway spot with an incredibly cozy atmosphere, KushiBa Yoshoku Bar is the place.
With a solid drink menu to match, it’s the perfect place to slow down and unwind.
