One of the greatest shows I have ever seen live.

Win/Lose/Tie – HUGE Win!
I go to an average of three shows a week live, and this was one of the best shows I have seen.
There are shows you say you went to and then there are shows you say you had the honor to go.
This was an honor to be in the building.
While most companies are chasing the American Dollar and are lucky to even get a 0.1 on ratings, All Japan doubles down on what fans expect of Japanese wrestling.
Making their own stars while not falling for the poison of heel run ins and mo money mo spoilers aka sacrificing your own stars to try to rub shoulders with a bigger company.
The main event is about two greats beating the hell out of each other while Kouraken Hall is going crazy and screaming their favorite’s name out like their life depends on it; That if you scream “KENTO!” a little bit louder it will give the wrestler an advantage.
Pure escapism bliss at the highest level.

At the beginning of the show, a 10 Bell salute was held for the late Taishin Nagao.
It is such a sad story to lose a young man in the prime of his life.
It was a touching moment when everyone chanted his name.

It was an awesome show to see live.
The opening Asia Tag Title match was outstanding and, without a doubt, one of the best openers I have ever seen.
It was so great we all asked each other if that was the main event.
The rest of the show was great but especially the exchange between Hideki Suzyki and Xyon! That was awesome!
The main event between Honda and Kento was a MOTYC in my eyes.
I was rooting for Honda and it really seemed like it was his night.
KocoPop aka Best Moment –
The All Asia Tag Team Title was the best opening match I have ever seen live.
The athletes in this match are beyond amazing.
Most of the fans there wanted to see Ryuki Honda win but when Kento Miyahara I got so excited and lost in the moment I dropped all my stuff.
That is peak pro wrestling.
Seeing two of my favorites Kento Miyahara and Daisuke Sekimoto go one on one.
I pray to the All Japan Gods that Sekimoto is a full time guy in AJPW moving forward.
Three Stars – Top Wrestlers Of The Show
- Taishin Nagao
- Ryuki Honda
- Kento Miyahara

All Japan Pro Wrestling’s matches are something else.
All Japan is the best place to see these spectacular matches, featuring giants over 100kg slamming their bodies into each other, which has become somewhat rare in the Pro Wrestling industry in Japan.
A rookie wrestler named Ikki Nagao made his debut in October 2024. His physique was anything but big, around 164cm (5.38ft) and 75kg (165lbs), nonetheless he fearlessly went head on against the monstrous All Japan seniors with heart, earning him the support and cheer of All Japan fans.
Sadly, Ikki passed away at the young age of 21 on September 7th after being hit by a tour bus.
A memorial service for Ikki, beloved by both fans and wrestlers, was held by a ten-count gong before the match that day, everybody grieving for a solemn moment.
The semi-finals and finals of the King’s Road Tournament were held on the same day today.
This meant a wrestler had to win two matches in one event. This was an intense situation for fans, but for the wrestlers it must have been extremely rough.
In the second match, Kento Miyahara, his eyes set for his third tournament victory, defeated the formidable Daisuke Sekimoto to advance to the finals.
There was a wrestler who was a runner-up last year and the year before and was also hoping to win this year. Ryuki Honda defeated last year’s champion Ren Ayabe in the third match, who was aiming for his second consecutive title, to advance to the finals.
So the main event tournament final was Kento Miyahara vs. Ryuki Honda.
All four wrestlers were hungry for victory, making it an exciting match where everyone in the ring was determined to win.
This was both Kento Miyahara and Ryuki Honda’s second match of the day.
It must have been physically demanding, but the battle was so passionate and intense that it was hard to believe they already had given their all within the day.
Honda’s special move was the Final Vent, and Kento’s special move was the Shutdown Suplex Hold.
The determination of each wrestler, eager to land their special move, collided.
Both wrestlers being popular, fans cheered them on even to the point where they were harming their own vocal cord.
Honda fans, slightly more in number than his opponent, were eager to see him win his first tournament after getting second place two years in a row.
Both wrestlers fought for their victory, but Kento barely managed to raise his shoulders after Honda’s final bend at the two count, and then landed his flawless shutdown suplex hold for the three count!
He is the first record-breaking three-time-winner.
After his triumph over his opponent, Kento took the microphone, wiping away tears, and spoke of Ichidaishin.
He was especially fond of Ichidaishin, and would always take him out to eat after each match.
“Ichidaishin was proud to be a wrestler for All Japan Pro Wrestling. That’s why we at All Japan Pro Wrestling look onward with the determination to make this All Japan Pro Wrestling ring, the one that Ichidaishin was so proud of, shine even more.”
It was an emotional moment on the microphone.
I couldn’t hold myself any longer. I couldn’t stop crying when I heard Kento’s fond memories and thoughts for Ichidaishin.
“I think I have to be a cool senpai to Ichidaishin,” he said as he announced his challenge to Triple Crown Champion Jun.
Kento is the man. He’s strong, loving, a true superstar.
Korakuen Hall was filled with sadness that day, but it was also one filled with gratitude and respect for all the All Japan Pro Wrestling members who fought passionately with their feelings for Ichidaishin in their hearts.
