横浜ポケモンセンターで記念コインをゲット！Penny machine in Yokohama Pokemon Center

横浜にあるポケモンセンターに時々行きますが、その度にファンにとって嬉しいミニグッズが並んでいます。
しばらく前は人気ポケモンのヘアバンドガチャで大興奮しましたが（笑）、今回はアメリカでもよく見かけるペニープレスの機械でした。
ディズニーランド付近にもある、こんな感じの機械です。
狙いはYOKOHAMAと書かれたピカチュウ！

他のポケモンやデザインがありましたが、やっぱI🌟YOKOHAMAな僕はこのデザインで行きました。
日本には貨幣損傷等取締法という、いわゆる「出回ってる硬貨を変な形にしちゃダメだよ」という法律があるので、10円玉を投入するわけにはいきません。
そう考えると、アメリカって結構ルーズなのかな？
20年以上日本に住んでいますが、段々と認識が混濁してくることがあります。

We’re here at the Pokemon Center in Yokohama, trying the Penny machine (or aka Penny Press).
I had to choose Pikachu because it had the city’s name on it!
There were other designs and pokemons as well.
Where I come from, you just put in a penny and two quarters, shove those coins into the machine and wait for your prize, but Japan has a law that forbids tinkering with real coins so the machine is already packed with tiny golden plates that serves as pennies.
The Pokemon Center area frequently changes these little goodie machines, so if you’re a hard core fan coming here to check out what they offer is absolutely worth it.
There’s a used game/figurine/goods/plushie store called Surugaya floor above, so I recommend going there when you’re in the area….. especially nerds like me!
