横浜グリッツ対HLアニャン 激戦レビュー！Yokohama Grits vs. HL Anyang Weekend Review

もうひと月以上生ホッケーに触れていなく、気が狂いそうです！
今日を楽しみにしていたのは僕だけではないはず。
士気を十分に高めて、気を練って、我らがKOSEアイスアリーナへと足を運びます。

クリスマス前の最後のホームゲーム2試合で、我々グリッツには奇跡が必要でした。
サンタクロースは早めにプレゼントをくれて、アレックス・ラウターが怪我から復帰して戻ってきてくれました！

今週のクリスマスユニフォームはDiscovaが作成。
オンラインで見たよりも、氷上で見た方がずっと素敵でした。
グリッツのファンやホッケー界のユニフォームコレクターは、いつもグリッツの黒がベースのユニフォームを手に入れようと目を光らせています（僕も含め）。
そして、ありがたいことに運営はそれを実現してくれました!

ホッケーファンの現状について

ちょっとここで、僕の目に見える日本ホッケーの観客についてお話させてください。

日本のファンの方々が最も熱く語るのはプレーではなく、下記のもののように感じます。
これらは一見問題に見えますが、実は簡単に解決できるものです。

１．　X、つまりTwitterのほとんどが、ファンの振る舞い方について語っていること

試合中のパックの行方よりもファンの行動についていつもにぎわっています。

簡単な解決策 –
勇気を出して、ファン同士で話しましょう。
また積極的にスタッフと話をするのも良いアイディアです。
私たちは、氷上の選手よりもファンのためのルールが多い時代に生きているのだから。

日本のファンの方々は自分のチームよりもアウェイからきてくれたファンに目が向いています。

ホッケーは選手にとってもファンにとっても感情的なスポーツですが、残念ながらALIH（アジアンリーグアイスホッケーの略）は双方の情熱を消そうとしています。

 

2.　レフェリーの質と判定のばらつき、酷さ

幼少のころからホッケーが大好きだった僕は、これでも試合中はもっと冷静でいるようにしています。だって無知な人に怒鳴り散らしても、すぐに有能になるわけではないから。
ALIHの審判達は、はっきり言ってこれ以下です。
ホッケーのルールを覚えようとするファンをより混乱させているだけです。
不平等なペナルティを相手・味方関わらず課すのでは、正式なルールなんて覚えられるはずがありません。

簡単な解決策 –
ホッケー界全体からレフェリーを呼びましょう。
リーグ運営の改善と、日本代表がオリンピックで活躍するのは、誰もが望んでいることのはず。
なので韓国や日本のレフェリーは使えないのが事実で、ロシア、ヨーロッパ、あるいは北米出身の審判が必要です。
もちろん、えこひいきは禁止。試合は公平でなければ意味がない。
オリンピック選手をリーグ全体に分散配置する必要もありますが、リーグ側はまだその準備が整っていません。

一方、日本の野球ファン達は何の話題で盛り上がっているでしょうか？

答えは簡単、野球そのものです！！
ファン個人や審判について話している人間は見たことがありません。

 

グリッツのサポーターのほとんどがプレーオフ進出を期待しているように感じます。
特に来月は私たちにとってこれまでで最も厳しい試練となるでしょう。

今週末はHLアニャンと対戦し、大きく後退しました。
フリーブレイズが最後の1席を奪おうとしており、私たちは現在4位にいます。
フリーブレイズは日曜日にアイスバックスに大勝しました。

グリッツは、元王者との2連戦の後、厳しい道のりが待ち受けています。
レッドイーグルスとのアウェイゲーム、全日本選手権、そして新年早々のHLアニャンアイスホッケークラブとの3連戦が控えています。
グリッツがチームとして結成されてからまだ間もないですが、全日本選手権ではひどい成績でした。
レッドイーグルスとHLアニャンは、①選手選抜システムの有利性や②判定の不備、そして③不平等に運営されているリーグなど、他のチームが持ちえない多くの有利な点を持っています。

1日目　12月6日（土曜日）

第1試合では、劣勢だったグリッツが元王者を相手に激闘を繰り広げ、観客はあらゆる感​​情を胸に刻みました。
横浜グリッツは序盤こそ力強いスタートを切りましたが、終盤で持ちこたえることができませんでした。
そしてアジアリーグアイスホッケーの試合では、議論を呼ぶ場面がつきものです。
我らがアレックス・ラウターは怪我から復帰し、池田涼希選手と種市悠人選手のアシストを受け、序盤にゴールを決めました。
池田選手は今シーズン、本当に成長しました。彼の粘り強さを誇りに思います。
種市選手はこのチームにとって大きな戦力です。
ラウター選手にとってこれは怪我以来のホームアイスでの初ゴールであり、横浜にとって彼の復帰はグリッツファン誰もが安心できる大きな要因でした。
HLアニャンはキム・ゴンウ選手とアン・ジンヒ選手の連続ゴールで勝利を収めました。
かつてのグリッツなら諦めていたかもしれませんが、このチームはあらゆる困難を乗り越え、毎年少しずつ成長しています。
僕はいつも、「これは我々対世界の戦い」と表現します。

グリッツは守備陣から攻撃を仕掛け、三浦 大輝選手と松金 健太選手のゴールで立て続けに得点を挙げることができました！

グリッツ軍団と横浜FCは絶好調でしたが、そこに物議を醸す事態が起きてしまいます。

不透明なコール、リプレイを見せずに判定

竹谷 莉央人選手が得点したものの、そのプレーには激しい接触がありました。
氷上ではノーゴールの判定が下されましたが、審判はバックラインに回ったのでした。
スタジアムとYouTubeチャンネルにはインスタントリプレイ機能があるのにもかかわらず、ファンも誰もリプレイは見られることがなく、審判は再び氷上に戻り、HLアニャンのゴールを認めたのでした。
信頼と透明性の欠如は、ホッケーだけでなく、人生のあらゆる側面において不正行為を意味します。

僕の視点（氷の反対側）からは、グリッツのディフェンダーが彼にフックをかけたように見えました。
HLアニャンはペナルティショットか2分間のパワープレーを受けるべきだったように感じます。

YouTubeでこの試合を観戦していた世界中のホッケーファン達から、何が起こったのかと尋ねるメッセージが数多く僕に寄せられましたた。
この謎の判定について説明しなければならなかったのですが、皆同じ反応で、「ありえねぇな！」としか言いようがないようでした。

このようにレフェリー全員が誤審ばかりしている間は、アジアのスポーツは決して発展しません。
問題なのは海外の観客だけでなく、真の日本のメディアです。メディアのふりをしている、ホッケーを「爆アゲ」するばかりの広報担当者ではありません。

僕は日本ライティングカンファレンスに参加し、多くの日本の記者と話をしましたが、彼らは皆「彼らはスポーツを発展させたいのではなく、自分たちの仕事を守りたいだけだ」と言っていました。

グリッツ軍団のダニエルがIIFHFのルールを調べましたが、これは基本的にレフェリーの技量での判断になるとのことでした。

レフェリーの判断をより信頼するには、リプレイをライブで放送することです。
ファンにもリプレイを見せるのは野球、アメリカンフットボール、そして日本の多くのリーグで行われています。

グリッツ軍団のブレンダンと、その夜アリーナを後にした多くのファンは、あの瞬間が試合の流れを大きく変えたと感じたのでした。

シン・サンフン選手が大津 夕聖選手とソン・ヒョンチョル選手のアシストを受け、試合最後のゴールを決め、HLアニャンに勝利をもたらる結果となりました。

横浜グリッツの富田開選手は合計47本のシュートをこの日浴びた。
HLアニャンのチョン・ジョンフン選手は21本のシュートでした。

全体をみると、横浜グリッツが期待を裏切らない手に汗を握る試合でしたが、HLアニャンは1年間の変化を経てもなお強力なチームであり続けているのがわかりました。

【2025.12.6】Yokohama GRITS vs HL Anyang | Asia League Highlights |

 

1日目　12月7日（日曜日）

横浜グリッツは好調なスタートを切りましたが、すぐに現実を突きつけられました。

ラウター選手が10分47秒、杉本華唯選手とタイラー・ロックウェル選手のアシストを受け、先制点を挙げてくれます！（僕のお気に入りの3人！…といっても全員だけど）

実は杉本選手の練習用ユニフォームを注文しており、届くのを首を長くして待っております。
ラウター選手とロックウェル選手がグリッツに残ってくれることを毎日祈っています。
来年は彼らを応援し、サポートを強化する方法を見つけなければいけません。

アリーナはクリスマスの歓声で溢れていました。
ところが、HLアニャンのグリKOSEアイスアリーナからクリスマスの喜びをすべて奪い去ってしまうのです。

グリッツは、両チームともファイトペナルティを恐れ、倒れながらの激しいショット、激しいヒット、レスリングの応酬など、息もつけない戦いを繰り広げました。
リーグはファイトに厳しすぎる一方で、ルールは緩すぎる傾向にあります。
これは、すべてのチームの選手にとって非常に危険なプレイ環境を作り出しています。

クリスマスの奇跡を願っていましたが、HLアニャンの強さが勝り、残りのゴールはすべて彼らのものとなりました。

イ・ヒョンスン選手とアン・ジンヒ選手がともにゴールを決めました。

試合前に僕がとても尊敬するグリッツファンが「背番号42」に気をつけろと教えてくれました。
彼の言う通りで、42番の榛澤 力選手がなんとハットトリックを達成！
素晴らしい試合でした。
韓国のファンが氷上に帽子を投げているのを見て、私は嬉しい衝撃を受けました。

榛澤選手は2点目を決めた後、グリッツ軍団の観客席をすり抜けてゴールを決めました。
ファンを挑発するのはルール違反ですが、反則はありませんでした。
情熱を殺し、審判とリーグが定めた気まぐれなルールを守らないといけない、という僕の言い分が分かるかと思います。

誰もが僕の意見に賛成するわけではないのは承知の上ですが、ファンは熱狂するべきです。
榛澤選手のようなプレイヤーがゴールを決めたら、熱狂的なファンの前で選手もその功績に喜び、応援してくれるファンに反応を見せてもいいと思います。

この試合ではゴールキーパー同士の接触が多発しました。
リーグはこの点も改善するべきです。
第3クォーターでは、富田選手がタックルを受けてしばらく倒れるという恐ろしい場面がありました。
試合はもはや手の届かないところまで来ていましたが、彼を交代させればよかったのではと思います。

もし僕が注目することで状況が改善するのならば、今後のブログでどんどん触れていきます。
どこまでもフェアに。
コーセーアイスセンターの従業員は、私たちホッケーファンに対して以前よりずっと親切になってくれました。
少し前と比べると、まるで天と地の違いのようです。

【2025.12.7】Yokohama GRITS vs HL Anyang | Asia League Highlights |

It was the last two home games before Christmas and the Yokohama Grits needed a Christmas Miracle.

Santa gave us a present early as Alex Rauter is back from injury.

Discova had made a Christmas Jersey. It looked way better on the ice than it did online.
Fans of the Grits and Jersey collectors around the hockey world always want Black Grits jerseys and they delivered.

Hockey fans in Japan

Japan Hockey Fans talk about two things way too much, and they are easy fixes.

1.
Most of X aka Twitter talk about how fans should act.
I think they would rather talk about controlling the fans than controlling the puck in their zone.

Easy fix –
Be brave and kind and talk to people.
Be not as brave and talk to the staff.
We live in a time that has more rules for the fans than players on the ice.
They are looking at the away fans more than their own team.

Hockey is an emotional sport for the players and the fans and ALIH is trying to kill it for both.

2.
How bad the refs are.
I am trying in game to stay more calm, as you can only yell at a clueless person so much that they become absolutely useless. The refs in the ALIH are beyond that.

Easy fix –
Import referees from around the hockey world. Everyone is on the same page that we want a better run league and for Team Japan to do something in the Olympics.
So we can’t use refs from Korea or Japan, they must be from Russia, Europe or North America. No favouritism. The play needs to be fair.

We also need the Olympians spread around the league but that is a can of worms the league is not ready for.

Hockey in January, 2026

I feel most supporters of the Grits are hoping for the playoffs, This next month will be The Grits toughest test yet. This weekend we played HL Anyang and lost a lot of ground. We are in fourth place with the Free Blades trying to take our last spot away. The Free Blades had a huge WIN on Sunday vs. The Ice Bucks.

The Grits have a rough road ahead after going head to head two games in a row with the former champs, they have to play the Red Eagles Away, The All Japan Tournament, and then start the new year playing the HL Anyang Ice Hockey Club three games in a row.
For the short time The Grits have been a team we have been horrible in the All Japan tournaments. Red Eagles and HL Anyang have so many advantages from the system they set up to the unbalanced league, and questionable calls.

Game 1 (Dec. 6, Sat.)

Game One you felt every emotion as the underdog Grits took it to the former champions.

The Yokohama Grits started out strong but couldn’t keep it together at the end.
It couldn’t be an Asian League Ice Hockey game without controversy at some point.

Alex Rauter was back from injury and he scored early; assisted by Ryoki Ikeda and Yuto Taneichi. Ryoki Ikeda has really stepped up this season. I am proud of how gritty he has become. Yuto Taneichi has been a HUGE add for this team. This was Rauter’s first goal on home ice since the injury and it was a huge relief for Yokohama that he is back!

HL Anyang scored back to back goals with Geonwoo Kim and Ahn Jinhui. The Grits of years past would have given up. But this team improves every year little by little against all odds. I always say it is us vs. the world. 

The Grits got some offence from their defence and scored back to back goals for themself with Daiki Miura and Kenta Matsukane goals of their own.

BS call from the refs

Grits Gang and Yokohama were feeling really good, then controversy hit.

Rioto Takeya scored but there was a ton of contact on the play. On the Ice it was called a no goal. But the referees went to the back. The stadium and the Youtube channel have the ability for instant replays and we got none. The refs returned to the ice and gave the goal to HL Anyang. No Trust and No Transparency equals corruption, not just in hockey but all aspects of life. 

From my angle (for the record it was on the other side of the ice) it looked as if a Grit defender hooked him and it should have been a penalty shot or two minute power play for HL Anyang.

Many messages from around the globe watching it on Youtube kept asking me what happened. Had to explain the call and they all had the same reaction. It was BS! Bull Poop but they didn’t say poop.

The Asian game will never grow if all anyone knows are the bad calls. It is not just the international audience but the real Japanese media, not the PR acting like the media. I got to go to the Japan Writing Conference and talked to many reporters in Japan and they all said something along the lines of “They don’t want to improve the sport, they want to protect their jobs.”

Daniel from Grits Gang looked into the IIFHF rules and it’s basically a referee decision.

More trust of a referee decision would be to show the replay live. They do this in Baseball, American Football, and so many other leagues in Japan.

Brendan from Grits Gang and many fans leaving the arena that night felt that moment turned the tide of the game big time.

Shin Sanghoon scored the last goal of the game, assisted by Yusei Ohtsu and Song Hyeongcheol, to give the win to HL Anyang.

Yokohama Grits Kai Tomita faced 47 shots.
HL Anyang’s Jonghun Chun faced 21 shots.

Overall, it was an exciting game where Yokohama didn’t let down but HL Anyang is still a strong team after a year of changes.

【2025.12.6】Yokohama GRITS vs HL Anyang | Asia League Highlights |

Game 2 (Dec.7, Sun)

The Yokohama Grits started off hot and then reality hit them.

Alex Rauter scores the first goal of the game at 10:47, assisted by Kai Sugimoto & Tyler Rockwell.
Three of my favorites.
I ordered a Kai Sugimoto practice jersey.
I pray every day that Alex Rauter & Tyler Rockwell stay.
Next year we will have to try to find a way to support them.

The arena was filled with Christmas Cheers, until the grinch of HL Anyang stole all the holiday joy out of the Kose Ice Arena.

The Grits fought hard with many shots while falling, hard hits and wrestling matches as both teams were afraid of a fight penalty.
The league is too hard on fights and too lax with the rules.
This is a very dangerous atmosphere they have created for the players of all teams.

We wished for a Christmas Miracle but HL Anyang was too strong and the rest of the goals went their way.

Lee Hyun-seung & Ahn Jin-hui both scored goals.

Before the game a fan I respect very much told me to watch out for number 42.
He was right. Number 42.
Hazel Riki scored a hat trick. He had an amazing game.
I was shocked to see fans from Korea threw their hats on the ice.

Hazel Riki after his second goal skated right past Grits Gang seats celebrating.
It is against the rules to taunt fans but nothing was called.
See what I mean about killing passion and the refs not following up on the rules the league set.

Not everyone agrees with me but the fans should be able to go crazy and if a player like Hazel Riki scores a goal who should be able to celebrate against the passionate fans.

There was a lot of contact with goalies this game.
The league should work on that.
There was a scary moment in the third where Kai Tomita was hit and stayed down for a while.
The game was already out of reach, wish they switched him out.

If I critique something and it gets better I will mention it in future blogs.
Fair is Fair.
The Kose Ice Center employees have been  a lot more friendly to us hockey fans.
It is like a night and day difference walking in there now compared to years past.
