いつも横を歩いては目が吸い付いていくバーガー屋さんにこの日は行くことができました。
そのお店の名前は「フラッシュバックカフェ」。
4時半頃だったのですが、お店のカウンターでは海外の人たちが酒を飲んでおり、僕たちが食べている途中でサラリーマンのおひとり様も気軽に入ってきていました。
何とリラックスした雰囲気。
店内がアメリカンな装飾のせいか、一見ごちゃごちゃしていてもどこか懐かしい雰囲気。
入店して左側にあるジュークボックスがいかにもパルプフィクション（？）。
日本の方には「昭和レトロ」という言葉を聞くときと同じ感覚かもしれません。
さてさて、メニューを見てみるといろんな種類のバーガーがあり目移りしてしまいます。
メインはバーガーやステーキといった肉を使う料理らしいですが、中にはナポリタンなどもありました。
特に目が吸い寄せられたのが「横浜バーガー」なる一品！
地元を愛する市民としては頼まずにはいられない！

バン（バーガーのパン）、卵、トマト、ソース…どれもが完璧な一口を作り出してくれている。
動画内でも少し触れていますが、ハマスタ直結の「ボールパークバーガー」とはまた違った種類に感じました。たかがバーガー、されどバーガー…
ボールパークバーガーは良い意味でレストラン的なのですが、ここのはもっとほっこりして「家の味」を感じました。
バーガーを食べ続けて40年以上、自分のこだわりには自信があります。（？）
もう一つ食べることができたのが「マック＆チーズバーガー」で、美味し懐かしアメリカのマカロニ＆チーズが入っているバーガーです！
フラッシュバックカフェはこの一皿を食べれるのが最大の魅力。

僕はマック＆チーズにはうるさいほうなのですが、ここまで故郷に近い味を出せるところはなかなかありません…！
（いつもチーズの種類や、マカロニの湯で具合やサイズが違ったり…って、こだわりすぎ？）

On this day, we were able to visit a burger shop that always catched our eyes whenever we pass by.
The name of the shop is “Flashback Cafe.”
It was around 4:30pm and foreigners were drinking at the counter, and while we were eating, a solo salaryman casually walked in.
What a relaxed atmosphere.
Perhaps because of the American décor, the shop looks cluttered at first glance, but somehow it has a nostalgic feel.
The jukebox on the left as you enter the gave of a vibe of Pulp Fiction.
For Japanese people, this might be the same feeling they get when they hear the term “Showa Retro.”
Now, when I looked at the menu, there were so many different burgers it was hard to choose.
The main dishes seem to be meat dishes like burgers and steaks, but they also had dishes like Neapolitan pasta.
One dish in particular that caught my eye was the “Yokohama Burger”!
As a local lover, I just had to order it!

So JUICY!
The bun, egg, tomato, sauce…everything contributes to the perfect bite.
As mentioned briefly in the video, this burger felt different from the “Ballpark Burger” directly connected to Yokohama Stadium. It’s just a burger, but it’s still a burger…
Ballpark Burger is restaurant-like in a good way, but this one had a more comforting, “home-cooked” feel.
I’ve been eating burgers for over 40 years, and I’m confident in my judge when it comes to burgers.
The other burger I was able to try was the “Mac & Cheese Burger,” a delicious, nostalgic American burger with macaroni and cheese!
The greatest attraction of Flashback Cafe is the opportunity to try this dish.

I’m quite picky about mac and cheese, but it’s rare to find a place that can make it taste so close to the one I have back home…!
(The type of cheese and the texture and size of the macaroni always vary depending on the water…am I being too picky?)
Definitely a recommendation when you’re in the Yokohama Stadium/China Town area!
