チェンソーマン THE MOVIE レゼ編 レビュー
原作マンガは全話読破、アニメも何周もしてきた自分にとって、今回の映画は期待値MAXで臨みました。
結論から言うと—ほぼ期待通り、いや、それ以上でした。
藤本タツキのぶっ飛んだ世界観を大スクリーンで体感するにふさわしい、スリリングで圧倒的なビジュアル、そして胸に刺さる感情表現。
これぞチェンソーマンの映画版です。
ストーリーについて（ネタバレなし）
Season 1の続きから始まる本作。
公安の悪魔ハンターとしてドタバタな日々を送るデンジの前に、謎めいた少女・レゼが現れます。彼女との出会いがデンジに新たな感情をもたらし、ほんのわずかな「普通の日常」を見せながら、同時に爆発的な危険も引き連れてきます。
ハイオクな悪魔バトルと静かなキャラクター描写のバランスが絶妙で、テンポも良く、だれる場面がほぼありません。
このシリーズが持つ「ぶっ飛んだ不条理さ」と「繋がり・傷・渇望」という深いテーマの橋渡しとして、完璧に機能しています。
見るたびに好きになる映画
正直、初見では圧倒されすぎて「すごかったけど……」という感覚で映画館を出ました。
でも繰り返し観るうちに、じわじわとすべてがはまってきたんです。
キャラクターアニメーションに散りばめられた繊細な表現、完璧な音響設計、丁寧に積み重ねられた感情の層—これは何度も観て初めてその真価が分かる作品です。
最初は「派手なスペクタクル」に見えたものが、実は緻密に計算されたキャラクター映画だったことに気づいた瞬間、鳥肌が立ちました。
そして本作の核心となるのがレゼの物語です。悲劇的で、繊細で、忘れられない。「学校に一度も行ったことがない」と静かに語るあのシーン——あの一瞬の重さは本物です。生々しく、哀愁があって、深く人間的。レゼというキャラクター自体、魅力的でありながら危険、脆そうでいて恐ろしい。声優陣とアニメーションチームが彼女に命を吹き込んだ方法は、伝説的なレベルだと思います。
チェンソーマンがアニメを超える理由
チェンソーマンは今のあらゆるメディアの中でも最高峰の作品の一つだと、自分は本気で思っています。
しかもその凄さは「アニメ好き」じゃなくても伝わる。
下品なギャグ・生々しいアクション・不器用なロマンス・鋭い社会風刺が大胆に混ざり合い、他のどこにもない新鮮でアクセスしやすい世界を作り上げています。
まさに「パンクロック的ストーリーテリング」—表面はカオスで、その下に深い感動が流れている。
一方で、熱狂的なファンとしては「このシリーズがずっと尖り続けてくれますように」と静かに祈り続けています。
藤本タツキの予測不能なスタイルこそが私たちをリングに引き戻し続ける理由であり、今回の映画はそのタンクにまだたっぷり燃料が残っていることを証明してくれました。

As someone who has devoured every chapter of the manga and rewatched the anime multiple times, I approached Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc with sky-high expectations.
I’m happy to report that it largely delivers—delivering a thrilling, visually stunning, and emotionally resonant experience that feels like a worthy big-screen evolution of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s wild universe.
A Fresh Take on the Bomb Girl Saga (Spoiler-Free Recap)
Picking up after the events of Season 1, the film follows Denji as he continues his chaotic life as a Public Safety Devil Hunter.
When a mysterious and captivating girl named Reze enters his orbit, she brings a whirlwind of new emotions, fleeting glimpses of normalcy, and explosive danger.
The story masterfully balances high-octane devil battles with quieter, character-driven moments, all wrapped in a tight runtime that never drags.
It’s the perfect bridge between the series’ signature absurdity and its deeper themes of connection, trauma, and longing.
Reze Arc : Why It Grew on Me
On my first viewing, the movie hit hard with its breathtaking animation and relentless energy, but I walked out feeling slightly overwhelmed rather than fully satisfied.

It lands with genuine emotional weight—raw, melancholy, and deeply human.
Reze herself is a breakout character: charming yet dangerous, vulnerable yet terrifying.
The voice cast and animation team bring her to life in a way that feels destined to become iconic.
Why Chainsaw Man Transcends Anime
I firmly believe Chainsaw Man ranks among the best series in the medium today.
Its greatness doesn’t require you to be a longtime anime fan.
The bold mix of crude humor, visceral action, awkward romance, and sharp social commentary creates something refreshingly original and accessible.
It’s punk-rock storytelling at its finest—chaotic on the surface, profoundly moving underneath.
That said, as a devoted fan, I find myself quietly praying the series never loses its creative edge.
Tatsuki Fujimoto’s unpredictable style is what keeps us coming back, and this movie proves there’s still so much fuel left in the tank.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is a bloody, beautiful triumph that fans will cherish and newcomers can enjoy (provided they’re okay with extreme violence and weirdness).
