Street Fighter Movie Review
One word can describe this movie perfectly and that is Fun. It is a fun movie for Street Fighter Fans with tons of easter eggs and nostalgia.
It isn’t another movie that abuses Capcom’s or a Video Game IP with some message or different vision from a Hollywood writer who doesn’t care about Street Fighter.
I love the fact that they made the movie take place in the 90s, the soundtrack, how they shot the movie, and the world the movie takes place in felt like the 90s when Street Fighter 2 took the world by storm.
Seeing New Japan’s Hirooki Got as E. Honda, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, WWE star Cody Rhodes as Guile, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Looked and played their parts perfectly.
The only things I want more of in the sequel is more Guile and E. Honda.
I also wish AEW’s and NJPW’s Kenny Omega played Ken.
