デイブ・ココ、大のポケモンGOファン

ご存じポケモンGOは、スマホを使って現実世界でポケモンを捕まえる拡張現実（AR）モバイルゲーム。
近所を歩き回って、ジムでバトルして、レイドに参加して、フレンドとトレードして、プレイヤー対プレイヤーで腕を競って、リサーチをこなして——気づけば新しい場所を発見して、他のトレーナーとつながります。
シンプルだけど一部の人間は沼ってしまう…そんなゲームです。

6月1日（月）、ポケモンGO フェス2026 東京に向けて、世界中でテンションが爆上がり中！！

東京ウォーターフロントシティの会場に、みんなで乗り込む予定です。
もし見かけたら、気軽に声をかけてね！

レイド周回、色違い厳選、トレード、バトル、それともただ街をぶらぶらしながらポケモンを捕まえるだけでも、何でもありで、もちろん誰でも大歓迎！

Pokemon Go Player Name – DaveKoco

Why did you start playing Pokemon Go?  : 
I started playing with my kids because it was a cheap way to spend time with them if we were together or separated.

What’s your trainer level and how long have you been playing Pokémon GO? :
I am level 65 and started playing maybe ten years ago.
My playing time goes up and down throughout the years, but I plan on playing a lot more this year. Including going to my very first Pokemon Go Fest.

Which team are you on (Valor, Mystic, or Instinct) and why did you pick it? :
I chose the Blue Team aka Mystic “The wisdom of the world is to be discovered.”
My son told me the Blue Team are the good guys, The Red are the Bad Guys, and Yellow is for “Noobs” his words not mine.
So… from that day on I was all in on Team Mystic!

Favorite Pokemon :
Snorlax.
He is a massive Normal-type Pokémon known for its insatiable appetite and heavy slumbers.
Requiring nearly 900 pounds of food daily, it can digest absolutely anything.
My kids, students, wife, and friends all call Snorlax, Fat Mr. David… so I roll with it.

First Legendary :
My first legendary was Ho-Oh, I caught him at Kawasaki Station.

My Pokemon Dream Team :
My top six would be my favorites so my Captain would have to be FAT MR. DAVID aka Snorlax.
Armored Mewtwo is the only Pokemon where I got off the train in Shimbashi to make sure I got him.
Tyranitar which I renamed Godzilla.
A Ursaluna which I named after my wife Bear Friend.
Rhyperior because he dominates in Pokemon Go!
Squirtle who eventually turns into Big Man Blastoise.

Some other favorites :
Meowth from the cartoon series. Ludicolo, which we always name Amigo.
Slaking does a good job in bases.
My Metagross & Kyogre do well in battles.
Chimchar because he looks like my youngest son.
Lucario which we nicknamed Ricardo because my Twitch Chat loves him, especially AJ.
Pidove, I will try to put him in many bases for Pigeon Pack!!!
Litleo for my youngest son.
Pangoro for my oldest son, he traded him to me.
Stufful & Bewear my wife’s favorites, we nick name them Bubblegum bear.
Rookidee, me and my wife named him Toronto.
Grapploct is a Luchador Squid or Octopus, what more can you ask for.
Zamazenta, me and Cobra walked over Yokohama collecting them.
Fuecoco because us Kocos have to stick together.
Psyduck, Machamp, Gengar, Bidoof always were some of my favs.

Why did you start playing Pokemon Go? :
To be the very best like no one ever was.
Also my inner child demanded it of me.

What’s your trainer level and how long have you been playing Pokémon GO? :
LV 67, July 7, 2016

Which team are you on (Valor, Mystic, or Instinct) and why did you pick it? :
Valor, because of the spiel each team leader gave at the beginning.
Candela said, “members focus on rigorous training and pushing their Pokémon to reach their maximum natural power to win battles.”
It sounded like how I play the game.

Favorite Pokemon :
Poliwrath

First Legendary :
Articuno

Your Top 6 Dream Team :
In this scenario I have achieved my dream of becoming a fighting type gym leader: Hawlucha, Medicham, Heracross, Poliwrath, Lucario, Annihilape

Pokemon Go Player Name – Theodore Sharpe

Why did you start playing Pokemon Go? :
I grew up playing and watching pokémon, so naturally I was going to play this game when it came out.

What’s your trainer level and how long have you been playing Pokémon GO? :
I have been playing Pokémon Go since day 1.
Currently on level 50.
I’ve been off and on for a few years now.

Which team are you on (Valor, Mystic, or Instinct) and why did you pick it? :
I’m on team Instinct (not the basic kind) because everybody in the U.S. was dogging on them before the game came out.

Favorite Pokemon :
Ditto is and will always be the best.

Your Top 6 Dream Team :
My Pokemon Dream Team Ditto, Gyarados, Ganger, Snorlax, Zaptos, & Slowbro.

Why did you start playing Pokemon Go? :
Been playing for 10 years.

Which team are you on (Valor, Mystic, or Instinct) and why did you pick it? :
I am on Team Instinct because I like yellow.

Favorite Pokemon :
My favourite pokemon is Machamp.

First Legendary :
My first Legendary was Articuno.

My Dream Team is Tyranotor, Raikou, Machamp, Mewtwo, Groudon, & Articuno.
