9月20日　土曜日　1日目

スターズ神戸（私は彼らを神戸スターズと呼びたいくらいです）の初のレギュラーシーズン戦は、首位のグリッツとの対戦でした。
まさに昔ながらの激しいホッケー！
カロライナ・ハリケーンズのNHL初戦、タンパ・ライトニングのスタンレーカップ初優勝、そして横浜グリッツの初戦を観戦する機会に恵まれ、スターズ神戸の初戦も、生で観戦した最高のホッケーの瞬間のリストに加えることができました。

 

KOSEアイスアリーナへおかえりなさい！

元横浜グリッツの在 秀虎選手と石田辰之進選手がアウェイゲームで横浜に戻ってくる姿を見ることができて嬉しかったです。
在家選手はとても嬉しそうな様子を見せてくれました。
私たちは石田選手のために応援歌を歌いました。
オーストラリアでの成功を祝福する皆さんの言葉が、彼に届いていたことを願っています。

シン・ドンヒョン選手は横浜FCの6-1の勝利で唯一のゴールを決めましたが、これは彼らにとってリーグ初公式ゴールとして歴史的な記録となるでしょう。

世界中のホッケーファンが横浜グリッツに黒のサードジャージの導入を切望していましたが、エバラ食品の活躍のおかげで、グリッツ史上最もクールなジャージの一つが完成しました。
ファンに販売され、年間を通してサードジャージが選べるようになることを願っています。

↑　カッコよすぎてシビれるぜ！

グリッツの古川駿選手とスターズの石田 龍之進選手、両ゴールキーパーは素晴らしい試合を見せてくれました。
海外の外国人に日本のアイスホッケーを売り込む際は、ゴールキーパーのポジションがリーグの他のポジションと比べてどれほど優れているかを必ず伝るようにしています。
古川選手と富田選手の素晴らしいコンビネーションにはいつも感動しっぱなし！

磯部裕次郎選手の活躍も非常に楽しみ！
今年は健康上の懸念からプレシーズンの試合には行けなかったのが残念でなりません。

種市悠人選手は2ゴールを決め、素晴らしいプレーで観客を魅了。
2点目を決めた後、彼が私たちの席に駆け寄ってきた瞬間があり、共に喜びを共有できた瞬間が心に残っています。
彼の目に宿る情熱は、彼が戦士であり、明るい未来が約束されていることを物語っているようでした。
写真を撮っておけばよかったのですが、ただその瞬間を捉えていただけです。

今日の試合には横浜にとって数え切れないほどのゴールとハイライトがあり、全てをリストアップするのは難しいでしょう。

元キャプテンで新キャプテンの岩本和真選手、齊藤輝選手、そして私のお気に入りの選手の一人、杉本華唯選手もゴールを決め、試合を通して精力的にプレーしていました。
池田涼希選手はゴールを決め、今シーズンは戦士のようなプレーを見せています。

一つ疑問に思ったのですが、池田選手はゴール写真で本当にこのハンドサインをしていたのでしょうか？
分かる人なら分かるでしょう。笑

横浜グリッツ、新たなファン獲得

多くの外国人の知人達を初めての試合観戦に招待しましたが、 三浦大輝選手が見せたヒットの数々と粘り強さから、多くの人が彼を一番好きな選手だとそろって言っていました。
センターアイスに放ったヒットは、ハイライト映像に何度も登場するべきものでした。

タイラー・ロックウェル選手はスターズから強烈なヒットを何度か受けましたが、すぐに復帰しました。
彼にはガッツがあり、粘り強さがあります。
ラウター選手のように、複数シーズンにわたってチームに残ってくれますように…！

同郷の友、アレックス・“ザ・グレート”・ラウター選手は、下半身の怪我でこの度の試合を欠場していました。
第2戦も欠場する可能性が高いものの、試合開始直前の医師判断になるでしょう。
しかし彼は来週末までに100%回復するだろうと言っているので何とも心強い！
今週の試合ではYouTubeの無料放送で英語解説も担当していました。

 

アジアホッケーリーグの審判

審判の改善は非常に遅いようです…例えると、まるでペットのトイレトレーニングのようで、ようやくベッドではなくドアのそばで用をたすようになってくれたようです。（辛辣ですが、あえてありのままを言います）
両チームとも多くの判定を見逃しており、選手が大怪我をする前に、もっと早いペースでの改善が必須。

彼らが最も注目すべき点は、ホイッスル後のダーティープレー。
ホイッスルが鳴った後は、まるで犯罪現場のような雰囲気になります。
いつも僕がいる場内の「うるさいエリア」以外では、観客の雰囲気が冷え切っているように感じました。まるでもうあきらめきっているかのよう。

 

新横浜でもスポーツを盛り上げていきたい

新横浜で本場のホッケーの雰囲気を味わえることを願っていますが、スポーツにつきものの騒音に関する苦情がファンの熱意を殺しています。

横浜は素晴らしいスポーツ都市であり、ベイスターズのファンは試合中ずっと歌い、絞り出せる限りの声で応援しています。
私たちもいつかホッケーを見ながら、彼らのように心から応援することができるようになるでしょうか？

今日の試合のスター3人

  1. 種市悠人選手 – ハットトリックまであと1点。
  2. 古川駿選手 – ゴールキーパーとして素晴らしい活躍を見せ、多くの重要なセーブを見せました。
  3. シン・ドンヒョン選手 – 神戸スターズフランチャイズ史上初となるゴールを決めました。

Night 1 (Sep 20, Sat)

The first ever regular season game of the Stars Kobe (I so badly want to call them the Kobe Stars) was against the first place Grits.
It was old school hard hitting hockey.
I had the privilege to be at the first Carolina Hurricanes NHL Game, First Tampa Lightning Stanley Cup win, Yokohama Grits first game and now can add the Stars Kobe first game ever to the list of cool hockey moments I saw live.

Former Grits players coming back home

It was nice to see former Yokohama Grits players Hidetora Zaiki and Tatsunoshin Ishida return to Yokohama for an away game.
Zaiki was so happy and kind.
We chanted for Ishida, I hope he heard me say congratulations to all his success in Australia.

Shin Dong-hyeon scored the only goal in a 6-1 Yokohama win but it will be historic as the first official goal in the league for them.

 

Hockey Fans around the world have been begging the Yokohama Grits to have a black third jersey and thanks to Ebara night we got one of the coolest Grits jerseys ever.
Hopefully can be sold to the fans and have the third option all year.

Both goalies Grits Shun Furukawa and Stars Tatsunoshin Ishida had great games in net.
When I sell Japanese Hockey to foreigners overseas I tell them how much better the goalie position is over other spots in the league.
I am very happy Furukawa and Tomita are an awesome one two punch.
I am excited to see what Yujiro Isobe can do.
I couldn’t go to any preseason games this year due to health concerns.

 

Yuto Taneichi scored two goals and played amazingly.
There was a moment after the second goal where he came to our section.
The passion in his eyes shows he is a warrior and has a bright future.
I wish I took a picture of it but I was just in the moment.

 

There were so many goals and highlights of this game for Yokohama I don’t know if I can list them all out.
Former Captain and new after Iwamoto scored.
Hikaru Saito scored. One of my favorites, Kai Sugimoto, scored and was battling all game.
Atsuki Ikeda scored and is playing like a warrior this season.

Did Atsuki Ikeda really do this hand signal for his goal photo? If you know, you know. LOL

New fans enjoying the Grits

I invited a lot of foreigners  to see their first games and so many walked away saying Daiki Miura was their favorite player because of the hits and grit he showed.
There was a hit center ice that he made should be on multiple highlight reels.

Tyler Rockwell received a few huge hits from the Stars and bounced back quickly.
He has heart, He has Grit. I hope he follows in Rauter’s steps and stays for multiple seasons.

My boy Alex “The Great” Rauter had a lower injury and missed the game, most likely will miss game two, it will be a last second doctor’s game time decision.
He said he should be 100% by next weekend.
He got to do some English commentary on the free broadcast on Youtube.

The refs of the Asia Hockey League

The refs are improving very slowly… It is like potty training a pet and he poops by the door instead of in the bed. They miss a lot of calls for both teams, and they need to improve faster before a player gets hurt.
The biggest thing they should focus on is after the whistle dirty play.
I feel after they blow the whistle it is a crime scene.

The atmosphere of the crowd seemed to be dead outside of our rowdy section.
I hope we can get a true hockey atmosphere in Shin-Yokohama.
Maybe too many noise complaints.
Yokohama is a great sports city and the Bay Star fans sing and cheer all game long.
Hopefully we can grow to be that.

  1. Yuto Taneichi  – One goal away from a Hat Trick.
  2. Shun Furukawa – Had a huge day in Net with a lot of key saves.
  3. Shin Dong-hyeon – For scoring the first goal in Kobe Stars Franchise history.
