さあスターズ神戸と対戦の2日目！

このチームはアジアリーグの弟分ではなくなったのは初めてで、本当に嬉しいです。
岩本雄二監督率いるチームは今年より落ち着き、粘り強さも得て、そして自信に満ち溢れているように感じます。
この努力を継続していくのは大変でしょう。

杉本 華唯選手はあと1点で、ハットトリック達成のチャンスでした。実に惜しい！
彼は得点獲得から試合を通して粘り強くプレーすることまで、氷上であらゆることをこなしています。

磯部裕次郎選手はゴールキーパーとして素晴らしいプレーを見せてくれましたが、第3ピリオド終盤で崩れてしまいました。
アリーナは過去の試合経験から延長戦とシュートアウトに苦手意識があったように感じていましたが、グリッツはそれを乗り越え、延長戦で勝利を収めました！

シーズン序盤でゴールキーパーが勝利を収めることは、のちの戦果に大きく貢献してきます。

横浜グリッツは池田涼希選手のゴール写真を本日から変更しました。
ユーモアのセンス抜群の1枚にしてくれました。

池田涼希選手はオフシーズンを通して大きく成長し、常に相手にとって攻撃の脅威となってきましたが、今では驚異的な闘志を見せ、自分よりもはるかに大きな相手を相手にパックを奪い合う闘志を見せています。
延長戦のPK戦では貴重なゴールを決めてくれました。

ものすごい勢いでファンのお気に入りになりつつあるタイラー・ロックウェル選手が延長戦のシュートアウトで決勝ゴールを決めました!　これはアツい！

アレックス・ラウター選手は第2試合も欠場しましたが、週末の試合には復帰する予定とのことです。
彼は第2ピリオドから解説を務め、外国人コーナーの騒々しさについて聞かれると、雰囲気が良かったと答えました。
横浜グリッツについては、正当な理由がある時は批判しますが、公平を期すために、良いプレーをした時は褒めなければなりません。
黒いユニフォームのサプライズギフトはファンにとってはまさに爆アガリの嬉しさでした。
たくさんのユニフォームをファンにプレゼントしてくださり、感謝です。
これはPR上、大きな勝利！

スターズ神戸について

スターズ神戸は、元横浜グリッツのプレイヤーでオーストラリア王者でもある石田 龍之進ゴールキーパーを筆頭に、強烈な攻撃力と強い意志を持ったチームです。
このチームは横浜グリッツ加入1年目よりもはるかに進歩しており、今シーズンは多くの番狂わせを起こすと予想しています。
このどんでん返しが対グリッツの時に起こりませんように…。
今後はよりチームを充実させるために、より多くの選手を必要とするでしょう。
その第一歩として、今週DFチョ・ヒョンギュ選手との選手契約に合意しました。

Night 2

It feels great for the first time ever we are not the little brothers of the league.

The team under Coach Yuji Iwamoto seems more calm, gritty, and confident this year.
It will be a challenge to keep up those efforts.

Kai Sugimoto was one goal away from a hat trick.
He is doing everything on the ice from scoring and being scrappy all game long.

Yujiro Isobe had a great game in net and fell apart late in the third.
The Arena was scared about OT and Shootout because of the past but The Grits fought through it to pull out an overtime win.

Every goalie having a win under their belt is a huge stat this early on in the season.

The Yokohama Grits have changed the Atsuki Ikeda goal photo.
This guy has a great sense of humour. 

Atsuki Ikeda has grown so much over the off season he has always been an offensive threat but now he is showing amazing heart and fighting for the puck against players way bigger than him.
He scored a key goal in the overtime shootout.

Tyler Rockwell who is becoming a fan favourite scored the game winning goal in an OT shoot out!

My Boy Alex Rauter was out for the second game but plans on returning for these weekend games coming up.
He did commentary in the second period and was asked about the rowdy foreign corner and he said he liked the atmosphere.

I critique the Yokohama Grits when warranted, but to be fair I have to praise them when they do well.
The way they handled the Black Jerseys was fantastic.
They gave many jerseys away to the fans. This is a HUGE PR win!

The Stars Kobe have a hard hitting team with a lot of heart led by their goalie former Yokohama Girt and Australian Champion Tatsunoshin Ishida.

The Stars Kobe a way farther than the Yokohama Grits first year, and I can see a lot of upsets by this team this season.
Hopefully none of those upsets come at The Grits expense.

Stars Kobe needs more players to fill out their team.
They started by reaching an agreement on a player contract with DF Cho Hyung-kyu this week.
