「リズム天国の新作が出るのってめちゃくちゃ久しぶりじゃない？
と興奮気味にニンダイを見ていた妻がはしゃいでいました。
そんなにリズムゲームって面白いのかなと常々疑問に思っている僕
でもそれも、リズム天国の体験版が発表されるまで。

“Wait, is this actually a NEW Rhythm Heaven?! It’s been FOREVER since the last one!!”
That was BearFriend, absolutely losing it during the Nintendo Direct.
Full hype mode activated.
Now, I’ll be honest — I’ve always been a little skeptical about rhythm games.
Like, how fun can they really be?
So while she was freaking out over the announcement, I was pretty much just vibing in the background, minding my own business and playing my usual sports games.
…That is, until the demo dropped.
And yes, as you’ve probably already guessed — I was immediately drafted into playing it on camera.
Resistance was futile.
So sit back and witness what I can only describe as my absolute, unshakeable, God-given sense of rhythm. ↓
Right out of the gate, I was mashing B when the game clearly wanted A. Classic Japan-vs-Western-controller-layout moment that literally every gamer has lived through at least once. 😭
BearFriend’s verdict?
She was genuinely shocked I did as well as I did.
Apparently she had fully expected me to hit Game Over within the first thirty seconds. Thanks for the vote of confidence. 🙃
One thing’s for sure though — this is going to be HER game. I can already see it.
With 80 different mini-games in the full version, here’s the deal: if this video hits 80 likes, we’ll come back and tackle it together for round two! (Somebody save me)
One last thing — right up until the very end, neither of us could figure out the frisbee stage.
