ブリトーナギーズ (Burrito Naggy’s)の食レポと感想！
日本ではメキシコ料理を食べたくても…
１） そもそも少ないので探すのが難しい
２） あっても本場の味から遠い
３） ボリューム少ないのにやたら高い
という３大難関にぶち当たるのが常です。
首都圏ではまだあるほうですが、郊外に行くととんでもないものがテーブルに出てくることもしばしば…。
妻が「メキシコで10年間修業を積んだ店主が提供する自慢の料理！」というのが売りのレストランに行きチップス＆サルサを頼んだところ、何とトルティーヤチップスにケチャップがかかっているものが出されたことがあるらしいです。
店員に確認しても「伝統サルサ」の一点張りだったとか…。
またタコスはあってもブリトーがないというパターンも多いです。
正直、チリビーンズや美味しいワカモレが恋しいときはひたすら切ない思いをします。
そんな時に出会ったのが横浜駅と相鉄線平沼橋駅から歩いて行ける「横浜ブリトーNaggy’s」でした。
グーグルや食べログを見てもスコアが高い！

早速足を運んでブリトーを頼むと、想像以上のボリュームとクオリティにびっくりしました！

この大きさ！僕の頭くらいでした。
ワカモレが入っており、素材それぞれの味が引き立つのがわかります。
もっと刺激が欲しい方は追加でディップソースを注文することも可能。
僕はそのままでもものすごく美味しかったのでそっこうで平らげました。
Naggy’sのチミチャンガが美味しくてたまらない！
次にメニューで目を引いたのが「チミチャンガ」！
恥ずかしい話、僕は何度もラテンの国を訪れていて、妻もメキシコをはじめいろんな国の屋台で食べ物を買っては歩き食いするのが趣味なほど身近な存在なのですが、この一品だけは2人とも食べたことがありませんでした。
アメリカのメディアで結構出てくるのに、実物を食べたことがないなんて悲しすぎます。
（デッドプールのキャッチフレーズの一つでもあり、シュレック４にも出てきます）

何で人生でもっと早くこれを食べなかったのだろうか…。
中身を囲む硬めの皮と中の肉、チーズとトマトソースが他にはない味を醸し出してくれました。
これだけでも何皿も食べたい気分…。
ブリトーナギーズは季節限定メニューもあります！
でもナギーズはここで終わりません！
たまたま行ったときにやっていた季節限定メニューがあり、「揚げブリトー」なるものが店内の壁に！ソースを纏って美味しそうです。
ブリトーは常温のものしか知らないので、興味をひかれた僕たちは早速注文することに。
冬限定、さらにディナー限定のこの一品もあまりの美味しさに涙が出るほどでした。

冬が終わる前にもう1度食べに行きたい…。
他にもモーレやアイスクリームなども揃っているレストランでした。
2人ともお腹いっぱいでそちらをレビューできなかったのが残念でしたが、近いうちにまた行くことに。

Burrito Naggy’s food review
If you’re having a hard time finding a decent Mexican restaurant in Japan, look no further.
Even if you want to eat Mexican food in Japan…
1) It’s hard to find because there aren’t many places to eat.
2) Even if you do find it, it tastes far from authentic.
3) The portions are small but it’s ridiculously expensive.
While Mexican food is still available in the Tokyo metropolitan area, heading out to the suburbs often brings out the most unbelievable ones.
BearFriend once went to a restaurant that boasts “Our signature dishes, made by the owner who trained in Mexico for 10 years!” and ordered chips and salsa, only to be served tortilla chips covered in ketchup.
When she asked the staff, they insisted it was “traditional salsa”…
It’s also common to find tacos but no burritos.
Honestly, it’s really sad when you’re craving chili beans or delicious guacamole.
That’s when I came across Yokohama Burrito Naggy’s, within walking distance of Yokohama Station and Hiranumabashi Station on the Sotetsu Line.
It even has a high score when you check Google or Tabelog!
Burrito Naggy’s deliver what you were missing on
I went there right away and ordered a burrito, and was surprised by the volume and quality, which was better than I expected!

It was so big, about the size of my head.
The burrito had guacamole, which really brought out the flavor of each ingredient.
If you want something a little more spicy, you can order additional dipping sauce.
I found it incredibly delicious just as it was, so I finished it in no time.
Naggy’s Burrito also has Chimichangas!
The next thing that caught my eye on the menu was the “chimichanga”!
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I’ve visited Latin American countries many times in my life, and BearFriend enjoys buying food from street stalls in Mexico and other countries and eating it while walking around.
This is the one dish neither of us had ever tried.
It’s so sad that we’ve never actually tried it, even though it’s featured so often in American media.
(It’s one of Deadpool’s catchphrases and also appears in Shrek 4.)

I wonder why I hadn’t tried this sooner in my life…
The tough crust surrounding the filling, the meat inside, and the cheese and tomato sauce created a unique flavor.
I feel like I want to eat several plates of this alone…
Burrito Nuggies also has seasonal menu items!
When we happened to visit, they were offering a seasonal menu item called a “fried burrito” on the wall inside the store!
Covered in sauce, it looked delicious.
We were only familiar with burritos that were served at room temperature, so were instantly intrigued and decided to order one right away.
This is the winter-only dish, which is also only available at dinner time.
It was so delicious that it brought tears to our eyes.

I want to go back for another meal before winter ends…
The restaurant also offers other dishes like mole(pronouned mo-lae) and ice cream.
Unfortunately, we were both too full to review that, but we’ll definitely be back soon.
